In summary, a Sales Manager in the Staffing industry in the UAE is responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, leading a sales team, and ensuring operational excellence. They play a crucial role in business development and maintaining high standards of service delivery within the staffing sector.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the staffing industry.
• Plan approaches and pitches, including preparing proposals, presentations, and sales contracts.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their staffing needs and providing solutions.
• Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and follow-up.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvements as needed.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Analyse sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales progress and achievements.
Operational Excellence:
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., recruitment, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
• Oversee the proposal process ensuring all proposals are aligned with client expectations and company goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Business Development:
• Drive new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to generate leads and represent the company.
Budget Management:
• Manage sales budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
• Control expenses and monitor financial performance against budget.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the staffing industry, preferably in the Northern Emirates
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of staffing and recruitment processes is highly desirable.
• UAE driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
