The Sales Manager (Valves) is responsible for driving sales growth and profitability for our valve products and services. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy:
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
• Identify and target key accounts and potential customers.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Team Leadership:
• Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing sales team.
• Set clear sales targets and performance expectations.
• Coach and mentor the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales goals.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
Product Knowledge:
• Develop a deep understanding of valve products, their applications, and technical specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
• Train the sales team on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Sales Process:
• Implement a robust sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Utilize sales tools and CRM software to track sales activities and opportunities.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Pricing and Quoting:
• Develop and implement effective pricing strategies.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotes.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with customers.
Market Analysis:

• Adjust sales strategies to adapt to changing market conditions.
