Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales, a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, and a passion for technology. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development:
• Identify and target new business opportunities in various industries, including government, healthcare, finance, and others.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Understand client needs and requirements, and present appropriate solutions.
• Sales Process Management:
• Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with the software development and project management teams to ensure a thorough understanding of product offerings and capabilities.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress to the management team.
• Market Intelligence:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
• Provide feedback to the product development team on market needs and customer preferences.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software sales, preferably in the software development or IT services industry.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and technologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience selling to government or large enterprise clients.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software solutions (e.g., healthcare, finance).
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
