Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused leasing consultant to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong sales background. The leasing consultant will be responsible for marketing and leasing our rental properties, providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants, and assisting with administrative tasks related to leasing and resident relations.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to prospective tenants by promptly responding to inquiries, scheduling property tours, and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Leasing Activities: Conduct property tours to showcase available units, highlight property features and amenities, and effectively close leasing agreements.
• Marketing: Implement marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants, including online listings, signage, outreach to local businesses, and community events.
• Lease Administration: Assist with lease preparation, review lease agreements with prospective tenants, and ensure all required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with current tenants, address tenant inquiries or concerns promptly, and ensure tenant satisfaction throughout the leasing process and tenancy.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties, such as maintaining leasing records, processing rental applications, conducting credit and background checks, and coordinating move-in and move-out procedures.
• Market Research: Stay informed about local rental market trends, competitor pricing, and property market conditions to make recommendations for pricing and marketing strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with fair housing laws, leasing regulations, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) preferred.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing regulations.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
