As a Sales Leader for Diagnostic Molecular Biology & Research (OMICS) solutions, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating opportunities with new and existing clients. Your focus will be on driving sales of Genomics (long and short read), Clinical Molecular Diagnostics, Microbiology, and Bioinformatics solutions to both new and established markets, including clinical labs, biopharma, CROs, agbio, and research institutions. You will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound inquiries, providing technical support to customers, and ensuring business growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets.Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Lead the development and execution of sales strategies for diagnostic and genomic solutions, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business growth.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and develop new customers, while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, including key reference labs, hospitals, research institutes, and biotech/pharma companies.
Market Expansion: Explore and develop new markets and opportunities for our genomics and molecular diagnostics solutions, including clinical, biopharma, CROs, and agbio markets.
Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical support and guidance to customers, helping them to understand and implement complex genomic, microbiology, and bioinformatics solutions.
Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including the regional OMICS team, to tailor solutions for strategic clients, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and customer needs.
Client Satisfaction: Build long-term relationships with client project teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Trade Shows & Conferences: Attend scientific meetings, trade shows, and vendor shows to stay up-to-date with market trends, capture marketing insights, and strengthen customer relationships.
Sales Support & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, market feedback, and performance reports to management.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years in sale(preferably in the diagnostic, genomics, or molecular biology field)
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
