Job Description

:Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure that the budgeted sales, GP in value and No of LTRS to be achieved for Veedol Lubricant and further growth is explored in the assigned territory.
  • Developing a strong and loyal retail / commercial network for Veedol lubricant in the assigned territory by adding new customers to the existing customer base.
  • Regular market visits and update Sales supervisor- Veedol about new a/c addition, competitor\'s activity, market penetration and business developments activities etc.
  • Focus on merchandizing , branding of Veedol product lines in the retail /commercial accounts.
  • Liaising with parts counter staff and warehouse staff for timely Invoicing and delivery of the material to the customers.
  • To prepare, analyze and forward the daily sales report, customer a/c addition report, and monthly action plan to the management.
  • Meeting the potential end users like garages and Lube centers regularly for catering the Lubes requirement.
  • Monitoring the promotional programs and preparing the list of the beneficiaries and submitting to sales supervisor -Veedol for further action.
  • Preparing, analyzing a price grid of Veedol product lines Vs competitors\' products and report to Sales supervisor, NPM on a monthly/ quarterly basis.
  • To ensure the sales of slow moving stock by identifying customers/ market in the assigned territory.
  • To ensure the Purchase orders /related documents to be collected before month end for invoicing to be completed.
  • Follow up on payment collection, PDC as per the agreed company norms.
  • Ensuring all the Sales are carried out in accordance with the cash and credit norms prescribed by the GAL finance department.
  • Ensuring all the sales related documents are filed and stored according to the documents policy prescribed by the GAL finance & Audit department.
  • To attend the sales review meeting with Sales Supervisor- Veedol / NPM as schedule.
  • Any relevant ad-hoc duties and/or relevant special projects may be assigned by the Management.
