Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for generating sales for the cargo forwarding services using a variety of sales techniques.
Cold calling potential customers and selling the company's shipping services.
Formulating proper quotation
Researching the target market and finding companies to target.
Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales.
Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the sales manager.
Progressing towards activity targets and KPI's set by the sales manager.
Creating invoices and sending out to customers following a sale.
Updating the CRM and inputting information on customers.
Following up with past customers and cross selling shipping services.
Providing assistance to other members of the sales team.
Following up on leads generated by other departments.
Investigating and resolving queries from customers.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience with cargo forwarding and shipping industry
Values accuracy on shipping documents like quotation and invoice etc.
Has initiative to follow-up shipment operations from negotiating with clients, collecting shipping requirements, delivery of shipment until settlement of payment.
Self-motivated and organized individual.
Track record of achieving KPI's and targets.
Outgoing with an ability to build rapport with people of all backgrounds and companies with all kinds of nature.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
• sales: 2 years (Required)
• Sales Executive: 2 years (Required)
Language:
• Malayalam (Required)
Willingness to travel:
