As a Senior Sales Executive in Freight Forwarding, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. Leveraging your extensive experience and industry knowledge, you will lead strategic sales initiatives, foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, and champion our brand in the competitive marketplace. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight forwarding industry, focusing on targeted sectors and geographic regions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate markets, meet sales targets, and achieve sustainable growth.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances with industry stakeholders to enhance market presence and drive business development efforts.

2. Client Relationship Management:

• Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, serving as their trusted advisor and advocate.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' logistics requirements and develop tailored solutions that address their specific challenges and objectives.
• Proactively engage with clients to anticipate their evolving needs, address concerns, and identify opportunities for value-added services and upselling.

3. Solution Selling:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to design and deliver customized freight forwarding solutions that optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and exceed client expectations.
• Leverage your expertise in international trade regulations, shipping documentation, and supply chain management to provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the shipping process.

4. Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
• Develop insights-driven sales strategies and action plans to capitalize on market dynamics, differentiate our offerings, and maintain a competitive edge.
• Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors that may impact freight forwarding operations, and adapt sales approaches accordingly.

5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

• Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track sales performance, pipeline activity, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales trends, revenue forecasts, and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with senior management to evaluate sales effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

6. Continuous Learning and Professional Development:

• Stay abreast of industry best practices, technological innovations, and market trends through ongoing learning and professional development initiatives.
• Share knowledge and insights with colleagues through training sessions, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in freight forwarding sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Comprehensive understanding of freight forwarding operations, international trade regulations, and logistics processes.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant sales and logistics tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development initiatives.
