Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for managing the tendering process, ensuring timely submission of competitive and compliant bids, and generating new business opportunities through tenders. This role involves identifying tender opportunities, preparing detailed proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining client relationships to secure contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Identification and Management:
• Research and identify tender opportunities from various sources private sector tenders, and industry publications.
• Analyze tender documents, specifications, and requirements to ensure they align with the company's capabilities and goals.
• Maintain a tender calendar, ensuring deadlines for bid submissions are met and allowing time for thorough preparation.
• Proposal Preparation:
• Prepare and compile detailed tender proposals, including pricing, technical documents, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, finance, legal, and technical departments to gather relevant information for tenders.
• Ensure all proposals are clear, accurate, and tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of the client or tendering authority.
• Bid Submission and Follow-up:
• Submit tenders in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all required documentation is included.
• Ensure proposals meet all legal, financial, and technical requirements outlined in the tender.
• Follow up on submitted tenders, engage with clients, and provide additional information or clarifications as needed.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tendering authorities, government bodies, and private clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to tenders and bids.
• Provide regular updates to clients on the status of tenders and any required follow-up actions.
• Negotiation and Contract Finalization:
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure favorable agreements for the company, while ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Work closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are accurate, legally compliant, and align with the company's financial goals.
• Assist in contract finalization and ensure smooth handover to project or operations teams after a successful tender win.
• Sales Strategy and Growth:
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies to increase tender opportunities and enhance win rates.
• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for new business.
• Work closely with the sales team to align tender activities with overall sales targets and business objectives.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of all tenders, including submission dates, outcomes, client feedback, and contract details.
• Prepare regular reports on tender activities, win/loss rates, and bid performance for management review.
• Track all tender results and follow up on potential leads to convert them into sales opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum [3] years of experience in sales, business development, or tender management in construction industry
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Experience in tender preparation, proposal writing
• Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate revenue through successful tender wins.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to analyze tender documents and prepare compliant, high-quality bids.
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate favorable terms while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for preparing professional bids and interacting with clients.
• Organizational Skills: Strong project management skills to handle multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office, and specialized tender portals or software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Facilities Industry: 2 years (Preferred)
• tender preparing: 3 years (Preferred)
• making proposals: 3 years (Preferred)
