Job Summary
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, pitching event management services, and closing sales. You will work closely with the operations and event planning teams to ensure that the client's needs are met. The role involves handling end-to-end sales activities from lead generation to client onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation : Identify potential clients through various channels including cold calls, email campaigns, and networking events.
• Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their event needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Sales Pitching : Present the company's services effectively, including event planning, execution, and logistics, to prospective clients.
• Negotiation & Closing : Negotiate contracts and close deals by aligning client expectations with company offerings.
• Collaborate with Teams : Work closely with the event planning and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Market Research : Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to tailor your sales strategy.
• Reporting : Prepare and present sales forecasts, and maintain a record of client communications, contracts, and feedback.
Key Skills & Qualifications
• Experience : 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in event management, hospitality, or related industries.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients professionally.
• Sales Skills : Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Customer-Oriented : A client-first approach, with an ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
• Presentation Skills : Ability to deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Team Collaboration : Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, coordinating with different departments to deliver seamless events.
• Self-Motivated : Highly driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Networking : Established contacts in the event management or related industries is a plus.
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
