Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Executive with a strong background in automobile services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales, cultivating customer relationships, and understanding the various services offered in the automobile industry, including maintenance, repairs, and after-sales support. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting and selling automobile services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and helping to achieve the company's sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities in automobile services (maintenance, repairs, detailing, etc.) and work to increase service contracts.
Customer Consultation: Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions for services such as vehicle repairs, diagnostics, maintenance packages, or warranty services.
Service Promotion: Promote and educate customers about the full range of services offered, including value-added services such as extended warranties, service contracts, and vehicle detailing.
Lead Generation & Networking: Generate and follow up on leads from various sources, including walk-ins, phone inquiries, and online platforms. Build relationships with local businesses, fleet managers, and individual customers.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring that their service needs are met, and they receive excellent post-sale support.
Sales Reporting: Keep detailed records of customer interactions, service inquiries, and sales performance. Report sales progress to the sales manager regularly.
Service Consultations: Act as the first point of contact for customers, discussing vehicle service needs and offering personalized recommendations.
Follow-up & Retention: Follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction with services rendered and encourage repeat business.
Negotiation & Closing: Handle pricing discussions, offer discounts or promotions when appropriate, and close service agreements to meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration with Service Teams: Work closely with the service department to ensure accurate and timely execution of services requested by clients.
Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, new automobile service technologies, and competitors' offerings to provide customers with up-to-date information.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by handling service-related concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a professional manner.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in automobile services or related fields such as auto repair, maintenance, or after-sales services.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of automobile services, including vehicle diagnostics, repairs, routine maintenance, and advanced vehicle technologies.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain services and technical concepts to customers.
Sales Acumen: Strong ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs through effective prospecting, closing, and relationship-building.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with the ability to understand and meet customer needs effectively.
Valid Driver's License: Required for occasional test drives and on-site customer visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Industry Certifications: Knowledge of automobile service certifications, such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence), is a plus.
Technical Aptitude: Basic technical knowledge of vehicle mechanics and service processes will be an advantage.
