Job Description

A salesperson in the automobile industry is responsible for selling vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets

1. Customer Engagement & Sales

Greet and assist customers in selecting the right vehicle based on their needs and budget. Explain vehicle features, specifications, and financing options clearly. Conduct test drives to help customers experience the vehicle firsthand. Negotiate prices, discounts, and financing terms to close deals.

2. Product Knowledge & Demonstration

Stay updated on the latest car models, features, and industry trends. Conduct in-depth presentations and demonstrations of vehicle capabilities. Highlight competitive advantages compared to other brands.

3. Sales Targets & Performance

Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Follow up with potential customers to convert inquiries into sales. Track sales progress and maintain accurate records of transactions.

4. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for repeat business. Provide after-sales support and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.

5. Financing & Documentation

Assist customers with financing, leasing, and insurance options. Ensure all sales documents, contracts, and payments are processed correctly. Work with banks and financial institutions to secure loans for buyers.

6. Marketing & Lead Generation

Participate in promotional events, test drive campaigns, and showroom activities. Utilize digital platforms, social media, and referrals to generate leads. Coordinate with the marketing team to execute sales strategies.

7. Market & Competitor Analysis

Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends. Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and demands.

8. Collaboration with Other Departments

Work closely with the service department to ensure seamless after-sales support. Coordinate with inventory teams to ensure vehicle availability.
