Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Associate to join our company's furniture sales division. The ideal candidate will assist in selling high-quality items to enhance properties and create appealing, functional spaces that attract buyers and tenants. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for design, strong sales skills, and an understanding of real estate dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Engagement: Greet, guide, and assist clients in selecting furniture pieces that fit their style, budget, and space requirements.
• Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of the furniture inventory, including materials, design trends, and customization options.
• Consultation Services: Work closely with real estate agents, interior designers, and home stagers to recommend furniture options that enhance property appeal and align with current market trends.
• Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation to closing, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for each client.
• Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and assist the team in achieving overall revenue goals.
• Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with inventory management and logistics to ensure timely delivery and installation of furniture.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and real estate market dynamics to provide valuable insights to clients.
• Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and follow-up after the sale.
• Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is always presentable, organized, and fully stocked with the latest furniture pieces.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in furniture, home goods, real estate, or retail sales.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present product information.
• Customer Service: A strong customer-centric approach, with proven skills in building rapport and assisting clients in decision-making.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other sales associates, designers, and real estate professionals.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and evenings, as required in the retail environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Sales Knowledge: Basic understanding of Sales principles and property staging.
• Design Sense: A keen eye for aesthetics and a general understanding of interior design principles.
