Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team at PACIFIC BLUE , a leading shipping line. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our shipping services to potential and existing clients. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the shipping industry.
• Research and analyze market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
• Address client issues promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Regularly communicate with clients to assess their needs and identify opportunities for upselling.
• Sales Planning and Reporting:
• Develop and implement sales plans and objectives to achieve sales targets.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as necessary.
• Collaboration:
• Coordinate with internal departments (such as operations, customer service, and logistics) to ensure smooth execution of services.
• Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote company services and expand network.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the shipping or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of shipping processes, freight forwarding, and logistics operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering results.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
