Role Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive specializing in air freight operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating air freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods, liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to optimize logistics processes and provide customer focused exceptional services. You will play a vital role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding the customer base who needs customised freight solutions. Your sales expertise, industry knowledge, and relationship-building skills will contribute to achieving sales targets and building lasting customer partnerships. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Coordinate air freight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely pickup, transit, and delivery of goods. \xc2\xb7 Negotiate rates with airlines and freight forwarders to secure competitive pricing and optimize cost efficiency. \xc2\xb7 Liaise with customers to understand their shipping requirements and provide solutions tailored to their needs. \xc2\xb7 Monitor shipment status and proactively address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions to the supply chain. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal teams, such as Operations, Customer Service, and Warehousing, to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations. \xc2\xb7 Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet service level agreements. \xc2\xb7 Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting air freight transportation. \xc2\xb7 Uphold high standards of customer service, responsiveness, and professionalism in all interactions with clients and partners. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications a plus. Proven experience of not less than 5 years in similar Sales role within logistics industry. Strong knowledge of air transportation regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices. Valid Driving License. Effective communication and presentation skills for client interactions. Results-oriented mindset and ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs. Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is advantageous. Problem-solving skills and strategic thinking for solution-based selling. Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic is beneficial.
