We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Executive to join our joinery company. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting our joinery products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the joinery industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service and products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the joinery market, including contractors, architects, interior designers, and builders.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Product Promotion: Effectively present and promote the company's joinery products and services to potential clients, explaining product features, benefits, and pricing.
• Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, both in person and virtually, to showcase our joinery products and solutions.
• Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure deals and meet sales targets. Close sales and manage the post-sales process.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure client specifications and requirements are met, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify potential sales leads and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Sales Reporting: Track sales performance and report regularly to the Sales Manager or senior management team, providing insights into sales forecasts, progress, and challenges.
• Customer Service: Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
• Follow-ups: Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure the successful delivery of products and services, encouraging feedback and future business opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Additional qualifications in sales or construction/ joinery are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of [X] years of sales experience, preferably within the joinery, construction, or interior design industry.
• Product Knowledge: Understanding of joinery products, materials, finishes, and industry-specific terminology.
• Sales Skills: Strong track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals, with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions clearly.
• Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
• Organizational Skills: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and find solutions to challenges faced by clients or during the sales process.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software. Experience with industry-specific software is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in a joinery or construction-related sales role.
• Knowledge of CAD software and an understanding of technical drawings or plans.
• Existing network of contacts in the construction or design industry.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with standard working hours. Flexibility may be required depending on client meetings and deadlines.
• Occasional travel to meet with clients and attend site visits.
• Performance-based incentives and commission structure tied to sales results.
