Job Position Summary
The Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, promoting lab services & packages and fostering strong relationships with customers. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the market.
Reports to: Commercial Director/Operation Director/Sales Director
Essential Job Duties
• Identify and approach potential customers such as hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities to promote laboratory testing services.
• Negotiate pricing and terms of sales to close leads efficiently and meet revenue targets.
• Demonstrate and explain the details of testing services to potential clients.
• Understand the customer needs or issues and provide them solutions to ensure client satisfaction and maintain long-term business relationship.
• Create and maintain rapport with key decision makers in private and government organizations.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, understand competitors' offerings and market trends.
• Maintain records of sales activities, lead updates and service contracts.
• Prepare and present regular sales report and forecasts to management in monthly sales meeting.
Requirements
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in a biology or chemistry with business administration will be beneficial
• Proven track record in sales with minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience, particularly in the medical laboratory.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively presenting products and negotiating with customers.
• Strong customer orientation and ability to build rapport and trust.
• Ability to understand and explain technical specifications of laboratory services.
• Capability to address customer concerns and find suitable solutions.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in marketing, customer service, and technical support.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 3 per week
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
