PURPOSE OF JOB
The Sales / Event Executive at PURA VIDA ECO TOURISM- SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP L.L.C. is responsible for generating revenue through room sales and event management for our eco retreat. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key clients, driving room bookings, and organizing events to enhance the retreat's visibility and profitability. This individual will act as a liaison between clients and the retreat to ensure a seamless guest experience in line with our eco-friendly values.
MAIN DUTIES
Event Planning and Coordination:
Plan, coordinate, and execute events such as tours, workshops, corporate events, and special occasions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop event proposals and budgets.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services and prices.
Event Marketing and Promotion:
Promote events using various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and partnerships.
• Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and attract participants.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions and support.
• Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
On-site Event Management:
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly.
• Coordinate with vendors, staff, and volunteers to manage logistics and operations during events.
Post-Event Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather client feedback, and identify improvement areas.
• Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, attendee feedback, and overall event success.
Market Research and Analysis:
Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in eco-friendly events and hospitality.
• Continuously improve event offerings based on market research and client feedback.
Sales and Commercial Strategy:
Develop an annual sales plan for events, aligning with business objectives to maximize revenue.
• Optimize event strategies for different market segments.
• Assist in pricing strategy development for event packages and promotions.
• Create and manage revenue roadmaps and distribution channel strategies.
• Implement and recommend event-related SOPs across departments.
• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs to maximize event attendance.
• Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Prepare and submit contracts for event vendors and clients.
• Conduct market intelligence and competition analysis
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to build awareness and attract new business.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or business is a plus.
Experience:
Prior experience in event sales, hospitality, or tourism is highly preferred.
Familiarity with eco-tourism or sustainability initiatives is advantageous.
Good communication and guest service skill
Attention to details and strong organizational skill
Skills:
Proven experience in sales, event planning, or hotel/resort management, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of sales software (Opera, CRM tools, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service orientation with attention to detail.
• Team player with excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
