Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in the aluminum manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and providing technical support to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of aluminum products and manufacturing processes, combined with excellent sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Development : Identify and develop new business opportunities in the aluminum manufacturing sector.
• Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Technical Support : Provide expert technical advice on aluminum products, applications, and manufacturing processes to clients.
• Product Demonstrations : Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our aluminum products.
• Sales Proposals : Prepare and present detailed sales proposals, including pricing, technical specifications, and delivery timelines.
• Market Research : Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met and provide feedback on product improvements.
• Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in sales engineering, preferably in the aluminum manufacturing or construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of aluminum products and their applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and convey them to non-technical clients.
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills:
• Previous experience in B2B sales.
• Familiarity with CAD software or technical drawing interpretation.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
