As a Projects Sales Engineer , your primary responsibility will be to identify and develop relationships with potential customers, including retailers and contractors, within the UAE and broader MENA region. You will be tasked with selling electric water pumps and related equipment, as well as providing technical knowledge and expertise on water treatment systems, GRP panel tanks, solar water heaters, chillers, generators, and other MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) products. You will collaborate closely with key clients and OEMs to ensure high-quality service and delivery, while also achieving sales targets and contributing to the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Identify potential retail, contractor, and corporate customers, focusing on creating new business opportunities for pumps and other equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their business needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Become the focal point for both customers and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), ensuring clear communication and coordination.
• Sales & Business Development:
• Sell and promote electric water pumps and related equipment, with a strong focus on reputed brands.
• Identify new business opportunities in the MENA region, particularly in the retail, EPC, Oil & Gas, Mining, and industrial sectors.
• Achieve and exceed financial sales targets while developing and executing strategies to increase market share and drive growth.
• Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge:
• Provide technical knowledge and consultancy on water treatment systems, GRP panel tanks, solar water heaters, chillers, generators, and other MEP products.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, technical presentations, and quotations to prospective clients.
• Sales Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze sales performance and customer data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
• Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, pipeline, market insights, and customer feedback.
• After-Sales Service:
• Ensure excellent after-sales service, maintaining contact with clients to ensure product satisfaction and address any technical concerns or queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience:
• 3-4 years of sales experience in the retail and building materials segment, preferably with a focus on pumps and engineered products.
• Prior experience selling electric water pumps from reputed brands.
• Understanding of the EPC, Oil & Gas, Mining, and industrial industries in the MENA region is highly desirable.
• Education:
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a similar discipline) from an accredited institution.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of water treatment systems, GRP panel tanks, solar water heaters, chillers, generators, and other MEP products.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend the best technical solutions.
• Communication Skills:
• Proficiency in English, with strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED12.00 per hour
Experience:
• pump selection/ engineered products, in the retail industry: 2 years (Required)
