Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining customer relationships, and promoting our products to prospective clients. Your technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and strong sales acumen will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and expanding our customer base.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends.
- Generate leads and qualify prospects through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and industries.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and promote repeat business.
- Provide product knowledge, technical expertise, and guidance to customers, helping them select the most appropriate solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers to showcase the benefits and features of our electrical products.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests for quotations, and after-sales support.
3. Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets, and monitor performance against targets.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and quotations, negotiating terms and closing sales deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customer service, to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions.
4. Technical Consultation:
- Understand customers' technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct technical consultations and product training sessions for customers to enhance their understanding and confidence in our products.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and industry trends in electrical products, technologies, and applications.
5. Market Intelligence and Competition Analysis:
- Monitor market dynamics, competitors' activities, and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide feedback to the management team regarding market conditions, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze sales data, market research, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic initiatives.
6. Relationship Management:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team, engineers, and customer service representatives to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network, promote our products, and build industry relationships.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with customers, providing timely updates, product information, and support.
