Pre-Sales Activities
Contributes to the development of existing and new relationships and negotiations with partners to pave the way of AG MELCO towards industry excellence.
Initiates new sales opportunities through synergies of Melco businesses and manages client relationships with both new and existing customers to sell, pursue and achieve the targeted sales.
Initiates and participates in contract negotiations including terms of payment, bank guarantee requirements, short completion durations, special pricing etc. in coordination with other key stakeholders within AG Melco.
Initiates the pre-sales or specking activities required to design a product with close coordination and discussion with the
Design Team.
Post-Sales Activities
Ensures that the product specifications are in line with the orders placed by the client and in accordance of AG Melco's standards.
Coordinates with the Commercial and Shipping department for the issuance of orders for manufacturing and ensures the delivery of the order to the project site.
Scheduling of orders and its delivery time and ensures this is in line with the commitment to the client which should ideally be between 4 months - 18 months.
Coordination with the design department to resolve any technical query from the Installation department or the client.
Ensures Support is provided to the Installation Department in case of any technical queries even after the product has been shipped to the project site.
Successful and timely issuance of POs to make sure the smooth delivery of product at the project site.
Arranges the advance collection of payments based on the PO issued and ensure a report of all collections is maintained.
Sales Support Operations
Oversees the cost-benefit analysis of all existing and potential customers to drive the sales numbers in the branch as well as to evaluate risks and rewards regarding the project that is either ongoing or is under consideration.
Coordinates with the Service Sales teams to understand project requirements and deliverables and furthermore, for a smooth handover between the teams.
Handles all queries and negotiations related to pricing information and discounts with close communication with the Sales Manager.
Manages the resolution of all customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction and ensures best in class service delivery across all customer touch points to increase brand image.
Ensures smooth communication and coordination between the various departments such as the commercial and shipping department so that the material is shipped smoothly to the site.
Ensures smooth process of handover of the product to the Installation department once it is shipped to the site.
Coordinates the implementation of reported held orders with the sales manager for timely mitigation and escalation to senior management in case of delays.
Achieves of agreed sales targets and outcomes within schedule by ensuring it is aligned with the set service sales process framework.
Generation and issuance of purchase orders after discussion with the client and ensures delivery of the material to the project site, once the PO has been issued.
