Sales Engineer - Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Solutions


We are seeking a driven and technically skilled

Sales Engineer

with a focus on

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Solutions

. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the

EV charging sector

and will play a key role in

driving sales

, providing

technical expertise

, and delivering

tailored solutions

to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:


Technical Expertise



Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of EV charging systems, including hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and propose EV charging solutions that align with technical and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot and address technical queries from clients during the sales cycle.

Sales Development



Identify and target potential customers, including commercial, residential, and public sector clients. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets. Deliver impactful technical presentations and live demonstrations of EV charging solutions.

Customer Engagement



Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their requirements. Provide ongoing support and follow-up to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty. Act as a trusted advisor for clients navigating EV infrastructure implementation.

Market Analysis



Monitor and analyze industry trends, market demands, and competitive offerings. Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance EV charging solutions.

Proposal & Contract Management



Prepare and present detailed proposals, including technical specifications, project timelines, and cost estimates. Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring a win-win outcome.

Sales Target Achievement



Achieve sales targets as agreed upon, leveraging both B2B and B2C sales strategies to drive results. Effectively handle leads through the sales process to close deals and meet sales goals.

Requirements:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in

Electrical Engineering

,

Mechanical Engineering

, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in

technical sales

, with preferred experience in the

EV charging sector

. Familiarity with EV charging technologies, standards (e.g., OCPP, IEC, SAE), and installation requirements.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of

EV charging systems

and

renewable energy solutions

. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in

CRM tools

and

sales software

.

Other:

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Preferred Qualifications:



Hands-on experience with

EV charging infrastructure projects

. Knowledge of

grid integration

,

energy storage systems

, or

solar-powered charging solutions

. Established

connections

within the EV charging or renewable energy markets. Strong experience in

building and maintaining client relationships

to ensure long-term success.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
