We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Sales Engineer with a focus on Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Solutions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the EV charging sector and will play a key role in driving sales, providing technical expertise, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of EV charging systems, including hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and propose EV charging solutions that align with technical and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot and address technical queries from clients during the sales cycle.
Sales Development
• Identify and target potential customers, including commercial, residential, and public sector clients.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
• Deliver impactful technical presentations and live demonstrations of EV charging solutions.
Customer Engagement
• Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients navigating EV infrastructure implementation.
Market Analysis
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, market demands, and competitive offerings.
• Provide feedback to the product development team to enhance EV charging solutions.
Proposal & Contract Management
• Prepare and present detailed proposals, including technical specifications, project timelines, and cost estimates.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring a win-win outcome.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, with preferred experience in the EV charging sector.
• Familiarity with EV charging technologies, standards (e.g., OCPP, IEC, SAE), and installation requirements.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of EV charging systems and renewable energy solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software.
Other:
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with EV charging infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of grid integration, energy storage systems, or solar-powered charging solutions.
• Connections within the EV charging or renewable energy markets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
