SCOPE OF WORK
•The Sales Engineer / Manager is responsible for increasing penetration and maintaining business relationships within our target market. The development of new relationships and continuous involvement in the end to end sales process for securing job award is a critical part of the role.•

? Covers all accounting tasks prescribed and instructed by the department head
Main Responsibilities: (Listed in order of priority)
•Key tasks and accountabilities are intended to guide the range and level of work expected of the post holder. This is not an extensive list of all tasks that may fall to the post holder and employees will be expected to carry out such other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time.•
To acquire profitable business for the company
Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships
Seek customers in company target markets through research and direct contact with potential customers
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
Drive the sales process from inquiry/RFP coordination through "Closing the Deal"
Provide support with preparation of quotations, pre-qualifications and tenders within set deadlines
Motivates and provides leadership to accomplish the team goals
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
Collaborate with company management to prepare and implement the company's Marketing and Business Development Plan and strategy for meeting business goals
Track and report current status of potential projects, markets, customer news, and developments through market study and research
Lead the development of Pre-Qualifications, formal presentations and marketing materials for the company
Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our standards and correct in content and format
Solicit customer feedback through the project proposal and execution phases
Maintain customer/potential customer contact lists
Identify and provide to management potential areas for expansion based on market exposure and analysis
Ensure maximum utilization of company owned equipment available for hire(e.g. Dredgers, DOP Pumps etc)
Ensure all quotations/tenders are sent out in a timely manner
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
? Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or similar field of study
? Minimum 5 years or more years of progressive business development, sales, in Maine contracting, dredging or related industries.
? Basic technical experience in Marine Contracting and/or construction field required.
? Fluency in English and Arabic Languages.
COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIP
? Should possess good interpersonal skills for dealing with Project Team/other employees
? Should possess good teamwork skills & Analytical thinking capabilities
? Ability to cooperate with authorities at all levels in the larger interest of the Department and the organization.
