Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of the MEP products and solutions offered by their company, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and related equipment.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, contractors, architects, and engineers. Identify potential new clients and create a network of contacts within the industry.
Sales and Quoting: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific project requirements and provide them with accurate quotations and proposals for MEP systems and equipment. This involves evaluating project plans and specifications.
Technical Expertise: Offer technical support and guidance to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about MEP systems. Provide solutions that align with the client's needs and project goals.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings. Use this knowledge to identify new opportunities and market niches.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and advantages of the company's MEP products and solutions. This may involve using technical data and specifications to make a compelling case.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales contracts, pricing, and payment schedules. Work to close deals and secure contracts with clients.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of MEP systems on projects. Monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during installation.
Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets and goals, often on a quarterly or annual basis. Develop strategies to meet and exceed these targets.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, project details, and financial information. Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and organized.
Post-Sale Support: Provide ongoing support to clients after a sale is completed, addressing any issues or concerns they may have with the installed MEP systems.
