Prospect the markets under his/her responsibilities;
Manage and develop a client portfolio in various industrial sectors such as steel industry, cement plants, port facilities, heavy industries, handling machine manufacturers, les tramways, automated warehouses, power sector;
Maintain and develop regular contacts with existing and potential clients in order to meet the commercial targets;
Offers
Analyse the client needs and propose technical solutions that meet the client's requirements, in collaboration with the project managers and the technical department
Draft the commercial offers while monitoring and controlling the profitability of the commercial affairs;
Contact and Knowledge
Maintain and develop regular contacts with engineering firms, supervise construction work and customer service;
Develop his/her technical skills and knowledge
Keep contacts with key players on the market to be aware of potential markets opportunities and evolutions
Profile
Engineering (mechanical or structural engineering) Background
Excellent knowledge of English, other language being an asset
MS Office
Knowledge of CAD & MS Project is a plus
Negociation and Communication skills
Analytical and organizational skills
Ideally 5 years of direct sales experience in crane related products, marketed to the heavy industrial sector such as primary metals, ports, and automotive industries.
To be ready to travel over 50% of his time around Middle East, East Africa & South African Region.
