We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer with a civil engineering background to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine their technical expertise and sales acumen to promote and sell construction-related products and services. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, particularly those related to civil engineering and construction.
• Identify potential clients and projects, generate leads, and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct technical presentations, site visits, and demonstrations to showcase product benefits and applications.
• Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, estimation, and project teams) to ensure client needs are met.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in the construction industry.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close deals successfully.
• Monitor project progress and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide feedback to management on customer needs, product improvements, and market demands.
Requirements:
• Proven work experience in sales or business development in the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering materials, methods, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets within deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
