Vega Leader is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Sales Director to oversee and drive sales and growth across UAE. Based out of our Dubai office, the successful candidate will manage sales managers and their teams in the UAE and be in continuous coordination with our main clients and business partners in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy.
• Identify new business opportunities and markets.
• Team Management:
• Lead and manage the sales managers in UAE (Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, RAK, Sharjah).
• Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure targets are met.
• Coordination:
• Work closely with other internal teams and directors to have a smooth work environment and achieve sales targets.
• Monitor and evaluate performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Client Acquisition and Retention:
• Identify and pursue new business leads.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
• Performance Tracking:
• Set sales targets and KPIs for the team.
• Regularly review sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Make sure the targets are achieved
• Market Analysis:
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Use insights to adjust strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Reporting:
• Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions to senior management.
• Prepare meetings and presentations daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly as per requirement.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• University or Business School Degree in Sales, Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years in business development or sales high management role.
• At least 2 years as sales director experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the logistics or freight industry.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication in English and other languages.
• Negotiation abilities.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in sales and management software and MS Office.
• UAE Driving Licence
• Experience in telecommunication industry in the UAE is preferable
