Position Title: Sales Design Engineer

Location: Sharjah, UAE
Reports To: General Manager

Job Summary:

The Sales Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the Designs shared to customers of furniture and storage solutions. This role requires advanced technical expertise and experience in SolidWorks, as well as a strong background in sales coordination. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of fabrication, electrical systems, and CNC operations.

Key Responsibilities:

o Create detailed and precise designs for furniture and storage solutions using SolidWorks and 3D MAX.

o Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.

o Maintain project documentation and design records.

o Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.

o Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues after liasing with the customer and to ensure the customer is fully satisfied with the design.

o Work with quality control teams to ensure customer recives the order with quality standards.

o Implement design changes based on feedback from production and quality control teams.

o Apply knowledge of fabrication, electrical systems, and CNC operations to improve design.

o Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure product designs align with market trends and customer preferences.

o Constantly following up with the sales team and the production team.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.

o At least 1 year of experience in using SolidWorks for design purposes. advanced proficiency is required.

o At least 1 year of experience in sheet metal design and manufacturing.

o Proficiency in fabrication, electrical systems, and CNC operations.

o Experience with manufacturing processes and materials used in furniture production.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Excellent communication in English and teamwork abilities.

o Arabic communication is a plus

o Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
