Job Description

As a Settlements Officer, you will be responsible for handling DVP and Non-DVP transactions, ensuring smooth operations in trade settlements and cash management.

Candidates from banking or brokerage firms are preferred. Experience in call centers (brokerage), cash management, accounting, teller roles, compliance, or back-office operations is also suitable. Ideally, applicants should have 3-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks based on settlement cycles and custodian deadlines.
• Maintain and update custodian sub-agent settlement instructions.
• Advise management on potential risk items such as failing trades and aged break items.
• Keep up-to-date files on settlement practices, custody fees, and corporate actions.
• Assist with custodian performance assessments related to trade settlement and support.
• Serve as a point of contact for fixed income and foreign market trade breaks and custodian instructions.
• Handle cash management for Fixed Income and Foreign Markets.
• Prepare reports for management (P&L), finance, and audits.
• Retrieve cash statements from custodian banks and provide accounting with daily settled trades.
• Oversee trades and cash settlements for custody and brokerage clients.
• Ensure compliance with AML/CTF regulations.
• Complete relevant AML/CTF training and respond to related inquiries in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Banking.
• 2-5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
• Ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively in teams.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Family book holders.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
