We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Sales Corporate-Travel Consultant to join our leadership team to drive growth, streamline operations, and maintain our position at the forefront of the travel business.
Position Overview:
The Sales Corporate will play a pivotal role in the overall strategy, growth, and operations of the company. The role requires a visionary leader with strong expertise in the travel industry, business development, and corporate management. This individual will be responsible for driving the business forward through strategic planning, partnership development, operational excellence, and team leadership. The Corporate Executive will also serve as a key point of contact for senior leadership and clients, ensuring the alignment of company goals with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership and Planning
Develop and implement long-term strategic initiatives to drive business growth, profitability, and operational excellence in the travel sector.
Lead the formulation and execution of corporate strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision.
Oversee market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
Collaborate with the executive team to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress toward business goals.
2. Business Development & Client Relationships
Capable of generating additional leads for the company.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key corporate clients, industry partners, and travel agencies.
Lead negotiations for high-value partnerships and corporate contracts.
Identify opportunities for expanding the company's reach in new markets and verticals.
Oversee the development and delivery of bespoke travel solutions for corporate clients, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
3. Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of the travel business, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and timely delivery of services.
Work closely with the operations team to streamline processes, improve workflows, and ensure the business runs smoothly.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, including health and safety, sustainability, and travel security.
4. Financial Oversight
Develop and manage budgets for various departments and operational units within the travel business.
Analyze financial reports to track performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve profitability.
Manage pricing strategies, ensuring competitive pricing models while maintaining strong margins.
5. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor senior management and staff across multiple departments (sales, operations, marketing, customer service).
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Identify training needs and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
6. Marketing & Brand Management
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective strategies for brand positioning and market penetration.
Drive digital marketing initiatives to enhance the company's online presence, customer engagement, and lead generation.
Participate in industry events and conferences to raise the profile of the business and strengthen brand reputation.
7. Innovation & Technology Integration
Drive innovation within the company by exploring new technologies, tools, and software to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Stay up to date with technological advancements in the travel and tourism industry and assess their potential integration into the business.
Qualifications:
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
Experience
: At least 7 years of senior leadership experience in the travel or hospitality industry, with a proven track record of driving business growth and managing cross-functional teams.
Skills
:
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including corporate travel management, market trends, and emerging technologies.
Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and P&L statements.
Experience in leading a team and fostering a high-performance culture.
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
