Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic sales team in the shipping industry. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional market research skills, be adept at obtaining competitive rates, and have prior experience in cold calling. Additionally, the candidate may occasionally be required to visit customers for relationship building and business expansion purposes.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor analysis.

Obtain competitive shipping rates from various sources and negotiate with vendors to secure the best deals for our customers.

Assist the sales team in preparing and presenting quotes, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.

Handle outbound cold calling to generate leads, schedule appointments, and follow up on sales inquiries.

Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Assist in organizing and attending sales meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote our services and network with potential clients.

Occasionally travel to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and participate in business development opportunities.

Requirements:

Proven experience in market research and obtaining rates in the shipping or logistics industry is preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in cold calling, lead generation, and sales techniques.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and internal teams.

Exceptional organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools is advantageous.

Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and business-related events.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a sales team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
