Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Sales Coordinator

with experience in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the sales process in building material trading, be proactive in managing customer orders, and provide support to the sales team to ensure smooth operations. This role involves assisting the sales department in meeting targets, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining proper records of all sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Support:

Assist the sales team by managing and processing customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment. Act as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and the sales team to ensure the smooth flow of information. Provide administrative support to the sales department, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining sales records.

Customer Service & Coordination:

Handle customer inquiries and provide product information, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Manage customer communication regarding product availability, delivery schedules, and order status. Follow up with customers on pending orders and ensure timely delivery of products.

Order Management:

Create and process sales orders, ensure they are logged into the system accurately, and track their progress. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure products are delivered on time and to the correct specifications. Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring timely reordering of products to prevent stockouts or delays.

Sales Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare and maintain regular sales reports, tracking sales performance and customer activities. Record and update customer information in the CRM system to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date. Prepare quotations, order confirmations, and invoices as per the requirements of the sales team and customers.

Coordination with Suppliers & Vendors:

Assist in managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure products are available for delivery on time. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure product stock is available for upcoming sales orders and projects. Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and delivery schedules when necessary.

Sales Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve the sales process, increase efficiency, and enhance the customer experience. Assist in implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and optimize order fulfilment processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably in the building materials trading sector. Familiarity with the sales process in the construction and building material industry is highly preferred. Previous experience working with sales teams, handling customer orders, and managing stock levels.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software. Ability to handle customer queries and concerns with a professional and solution-oriented approach.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
