Job Description

• Sales and Membership Acquisition :
• Actively promote and sell fitness club memberships to prospective clients, both in person and via phone, email, or other communication platforms.
• Identify and qualify potential leads by engaging with walk-ins, members, and through outreach (phone calls, social media, or email campaigns).
• Conduct one-on-one consultations with potential clients to understand their fitness goals, needs, and preferences.
• Provide information on membership options, club services, pricing, and promotional offers.
• Close sales and process memberships, ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
• Client Relationship Building :
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential members to foster long-term loyalty and retention.
• Follow up with leads and prospects who have shown interest but have not yet signed up, offering additional information or incentives.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any queries, concerns, or issues that may arise.
• Assist new members with the onboarding process, including showing them around the club, explaining policies, and introducing staff.
• Promotional Activities and Events :
• Organize and participate in promotional events or fitness challenges to engage the local community and attract new members.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create special promotions, seasonal offers, or referral programs to increase sales.
• Act as a brand ambassador for the fitness club, promoting its values and benefits in the community or through online channels.
• Membership Retention and Up-Selling :
• Work on retention strategies by ensuring current members are satisfied and engaged, recommending additional services such as personal training, group classes, or special programs.
• Promote club services, merchandise, and upgrades to current members, including premium memberships, private sessions, or special packages.
• Assist in the renewal process of memberships, reminding clients of renewal dates and encouraging upgrades or long-term plans.
• Goal Achievement and Reporting :
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales goals of the fitness club.
• Track and report on sales progress, lead generation, and membership conversions to the management team.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, membership sales, and follow-up activities in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Knowledge of Fitness and Club Offerings :
• Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, classes, and equipment available at the fitness club.
• Educate potential members on fitness programs, club offerings, and health benefits to help them make informed decisions.
• Provide a positive experience for visitors by promoting the club's environment, facilities, and culture.
• Administrative Tasks :
• Assist with administrative tasks related to membership sign-ups, cancellations, and updates.
• Handle inquiries, payments, and billing issues professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and organized sales areas and ensure that promotional materials are stocked and up to date.
• Collaboration with Team :
• Work closely with other sales consultants, trainers, and club staff to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
• Coordinate with the fitness instructors to stay informed about class schedules, events, and promotions.
• Participate in team meetings to share feedback, strategies, and insights for improving sales performance.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Sales experience : Proven track record of sales success, preferably in a fitness, health, or retail environment.
• Interpersonal skills : Strong communication, negotiation, and active listening skills.
• Customer-oriented : Ability to build relationships with clients and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Fitness knowledge : Familiarity with fitness concepts, programs, and trends, with a passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Goal-driven : Motivated to meet and exceed sales targets while contributing to the club's success.
• Organizational skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks, appointments, and leads in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving abilities : Ability to handle customer objections or concerns and offer appropriate solutions.
• Technology proficiency : Experience with CRM systems, sales software, and office tools.
• Physical fitness : A positive attitude toward fitness and wellness, with an interest in maintaining personal health.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a sales role, especially in the fitness or wellness industry.
• Certification or knowledge in fitness, health, or wellness fields is a plus.
• Ability to speak additional languages, especially in multi-lingual environments.

Work Environment :

• The role involves working in a fitness center, interacting with members, potential clients, and the staff.
• Shifts may include weekends, evenings, and holidays based on peak club hours.
• The environment is fast-paced, customer-focused, and energetic, requiring a positive and approachable demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
