Job Summary:
The Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that the store environment is welcoming and conducive to sales success. This position is designed for individuals with a passion for sales and a desire to exceed targets, with the added benefit of performance-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Performance: Actively engage with customers to drive sales, meet or exceed individual sales targets, and contribute to team goals.
• Customer Service: Provide personalized and friendly service to ensure customers' needs are met. Offer product recommendations and address inquiries regarding product features, promotions, and availability.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the company's products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
• Sales Floor Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive sales floor, ensuring products are stocked and displays are visually appealing.
• Incentive Program: Participate in the company's performance-based incentive program. Earn additional compensation based on meeting or exceeding sales targets and other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Cash Register & Transactions: Assist customers with purchases, process sales transactions, and handle returns or exchanges according to company policies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth store operations, share insights, and support company-wide sales initiatives.
• Promotions & Offers: Promote company specials, discounts, and loyalty programs to enhance customer experience and sales.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or sales-related certifications are a plus.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, energetic demeanor, and passion for sales.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales goals and objectives.
