Job Description

The Sales Associate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the sales operations, ensuring seamless communication between the sales team, customers, and other departments. The role involves coordinating and executing sales strategies, monitoring customer orders, and managing key accounts. The sales associate will play a vital role in achieving sales targets, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Coordinator



Process customer orders accurately, ensuring

timely delivery

and

proper stock management

. Verify pricing, check product availability, and ensure accurate order entry and fulfillment. Maintain

planned customer visits

to

promote sales

and monitor product merchandising at retail points. Work with logistics and warehouse teams to

streamline fulfillment and minimize stock loss, damages, or expiry

. Generate new leads and manage sales with supermarkets and day to day businesses

Customer Relationship Management



Act as a

primary point of contact

for customer inquiries, issue resolution, and support. Develop and maintain

strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and international partners

. Monitor and follow up on customer feedback to

ensure satisfaction and retention

. Provide ongoing support for critical accounts and

handle collection activities within payment terms

.

Sales Strategy & Business Development



Identify and develop

new business opportunities

in both local and

international markets

. Implement

sales strategies and marketing campaigns

to increase brand awareness and drive revenue growth. Generate

new leads

, grow existing accounts, and

expand the customer base

. Conduct market research to analyze

competitor activity, trends, and customer needs

. Suggest

new products and range expansion

based on market feedback and business needs.

Sales Reporting & Performance Monitoring



Prepare and maintain

sales reports, KPIs, and competitive analysis

to support decision-making. Track

sales performance

, customer transactions, and market penetration goals. Provide

regular updates and strategic insights

to senior management.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination



Work closely with

marketing, logistics, finance, and product development teams

to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate with finance for

invoicing, credit management, and timely collections

. Ensure brand image, pricing, and positioning are competitive in the marketplace. Attend

international trade shows, exhibitions, and business meetings

to strengthen brand presence.

International Trade & Export Management



Oversee

export sales growth

and expand into

new markets

while managing regulatory compliance. Handle

export documentation, customs regulations, and logistics for international shipments

. Negotiate and close

sales contracts and pricing agreements

with global clients. Optimize

stock allocation and distribution

based on sales forecasts and demand trends.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales coordination role, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
Skills:

Proven experience in international sales, business development, or export sales Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM software is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and adapt to different cultural and business environments Strong customer service orientation.
Experience:

FMCG Sales: 5 years (Preferred) management: 5 years (Required)
