As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall sales operations by providing administrative and customer service assistance. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with customers, processing transactions, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Transaction Processing:
Efficiently handle sales transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about product features, specifications, and promotions to effectively assist customers and contribute to sales initiatives.
Supplier Communication:
Maintain regular communication with suppliers to ensure product availability, timely deliveries, and stay updated on product offerings.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of sales operations, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate customer records.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively under the guidance of a designated supervisor, share customer feedback, and contribute to a positive and cohesive working environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
