Job Summary: Sales Support Engineer will play a key role in assisting the sales team by providing technical support, preparing proposals and ensuring seamless coordination between clients, suppliers, and internal teams. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong technical background in water pumps and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the sales team in understanding client requirements and providing technical solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including product selection and pricing.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, technical information and delivery timelines.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients.
• Coordinate with the projects and service teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, product catalogs, and sales records.
• Stay updated with industry trends, product developments and competitor offerings.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide product demonstrations and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits and technical discussions as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the water pumps industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of water pumps, pump systems and associated products.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• UAE experience and a valid UAE driver's license are preferred.
