Responsibilities :

Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, providing in-depth knowledge and support on our range of industrial tools and equipment. Conduct compelling product demonstrations, both on-site and remotely, effectively highlighting the features, benefits, and diverse applications of our tools, including pneumatic systems, power tools, hand tools, and related industrial equipment. Develop a strong understanding of our product specifications, technical capabilities, and competitive advantages. Proactively build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both new and existing customers across various industries. Actively listen to and understand customer needs, challenges, and technical requirements to identify opportunities and recommend appropriate solutions from the Roots Supply Solutions product portfolio. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and post-sales process, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships. Conduct regular site visits to customer locations to assess their operational needs, understand their existing infrastructure, and identify potential areas where Roots Supply Solutions can add value. Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for our equipment, with a specific focus on pneumatic systems. This includes identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively. Perform on-site servicing and maintenance of pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting malfunctions, conducting repairs, and managing component replacements according to manufacturer specifications and best practices. Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets by effectively promoting and selling Roots Supply Solutions' comprehensive range of products and services to both new prospects and existing accounts. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory and target industries. Develop and present compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to individual customer requirements. Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Collaborate closely with the internal sales team, marketing department, and technical support teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing initiatives. Provide valuable feedback from customer interactions and market insights to inform product development and marketing efforts. Stay continuously updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, new product developments within the tools and industrial supply sector, and competitor activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, sales activities, service requests, and technical support provided within our CRM system. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries as required. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and knowledge-sharing team environment. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Service Engineer, Application Engineer, or in a similar customer-facing technical role, preferably within the industrial tools, equipment, or related sectors. Strong and demonstrable technical knowledge of a wide range of industrial tools and equipment, with a particular emphasis on pneumatic systems, their operation, maintenance, and applications across various industries (e.g., manufacturing, construction, automotive). Hands-on experience and a proven ability to service and maintain pneumatic systems, including proficiently diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and managing component replacements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Exceptional ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop long-lasting relationships with customers at all levels. Strong results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and provide effective solutions. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel regularly to customer locations within the UAE and potentially the broader region. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
