POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Sales and Implementation Specialist to drive the growth of our business by selling our products and solutions, while overseeing their seamless implementation across a wide array of sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and a strong understanding of environmental solutions, with a
passion for improving indoor air quality and eliminating Mold. This role combines sales and project management, ensuring both new business acquisition and successful product delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sales and Business Development:
o Identify and generate new business opportunities within residential, commercial, and industrial sectors (residences, hotels, schools, hospitals, offices, factories, warehouses, etc.).
o Promote and sell Mold decontamination and air quality improvement solutions, building a robust sales pipeline.
o Conduct comprehensive site assessments to determine the scope of work and recommend appropriate solutions to address Mold and air quality issues.
o Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and presentations based on client needs, ensuring alignment with our solutions and products.
o Negotiate terms and pricing to close sales and secure long-term contracts.
o Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Implementation and Project Management:
o Oversee the installation and application of Mold remediation solutions and air quality products in residential and commercial properties.
o Work closely with the technical team to ensure timely and efficient project execution, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
o Provide expert guidance on product usage and implementation to ensure optimal performance.
o Conduct post-installation follow-up to assess customer satisfaction and ensure the solutions are functioning as intended.
o Address any client concerns during and after implementation, offering solutions where necessary.
• Market Research and Strategic Planning:
o Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the Mold remediation and indoor air quality sectors.
o Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and sales campaigns targeting key sectors.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and sales tools that support the sales process.
o Provide feedback to the company on customer needs and market demands to help shape product offerings.
• Customer Support and Relationship Management:
o Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all inquiries, updates, and support needs.
o Educate clients about the importance of Mold prevention and maintaining good air quality in their homes or businesses.
o Provide expert advice on regular maintenance and preventive measures to sustain air quality and Mold-free environments.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a related field such as:
o Environmental Science
o Indoor Air Quality Management
o Public Health
o Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental)
o Occupational Health and Safety
o Biological Sciences
• Certifications :
o Mold Remediation Certification -IICRC/NORMI
o Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certification - ACAC/NADCA
o Health & Safety Certifications
• Additional Industry-Specific Training :
o HVAC Systems Knowledge
o Air Sampling and Testing Procedures
o Building Science Knowledge
EXPERIENCE:
• Relevant Industry Experience :
o Proven experience: In sales, business development, or project management, particularly in the environmental, building services, HVAC sectors.
o Experience in Mold Remediation : At least 1-3 years of experience working with Mold identification, decontamination, and remediation projects.
o Indoor Air Quality Experience : Experience working with IAQ testing, ventilation, air filtration systems, and mitigation methods.
o Project Management : Proven ability to manage both residential and commercial Mold
remediation or air quality improvement projects, from initial inspection to final implementation.
• Customer Service and Sales Experience :
o Experience in sales or customer-facing roles, especially in environmental services or building maintenance industries.
o Experience with developing and delivering technical presentations to clients, property managers, or decision-makers.
• Technical Skills :
o Familiarity with tools and equipment used for Mold testing and air quality analysis (e.g., air sampling devices, moisture meters, thermal cameras).
o Knowledge of industry-specific software (e.g., for estimating, project management, or testing
results).
SOFT SKILLS
• Problem-Solving Ability : Ability to diagnose indoor air quality problems or Mold-related issues and propose effective, customized solutions.
• Attention to Detail : Precision in identifying Mold growth, potential air quality issues, and
documenting findings during inspections.
• Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication to effectively communicate
complex technical information to clients and team members.
• Customer Service Focus : Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring they feel informed and satisfied with the solutions provided.
• Project Management Skills : Ability to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient implementation while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Health & Safety Awareness : Knowledge of industry health and safety guidelines for Mold
remediation and indoor air quality improvement. This includes understanding the risks involved in handling hazardous materials and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Teamwork : Ability to work well with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, technical staff, and external contractors.
KNOWLEDGE OF STANDARDS & REGULATIONS:
• Environmental & Health Standards :
o Familiarity with regulations related to Mold remediation - EPA , OSHA , ANSI , etc.
o Knowledge of indoor air quality standards - ALA , WH, UAE regulation, etc.
• Industry Best Practices :
o Understanding of IICRC standards for Mold remediation and related techniques.
o Awareness of EPA guidelines for managing indoor air quality and Mold.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
• Multilingual Skills : In Dubai and the broader UAE region, speaking Arabic or other languages could be beneficial for communicating with a broader client base.
• Sales & Negotiation Skills : For roles involving sales, having a proven track record of driving sales in technical or environmental services can be an asset.
• Technology Savvy : Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), smart building technology, or advanced air filtration systems could be beneficial, especially for larger commercial clients.
