We're seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Agent to join our B2C travel team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, effectively promote travel packages, and consistently meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sell travel & local tour packages: Offer customized travel solutions to walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and email requests.
2. Customer Service: Provide exceptional support, addressing customer queries, concerns, and feedback.
3. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on travel destinations, packages, promotions, and industry trends.
4. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales objectives.
5. Build Relationships: Foster strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
6. Travel Documentation: Assist with booking, ticketing, and travel documentation.
7. Payment Processing: Handle secure payment transactions.
8. Upselling/Cross-Selling: Offer additional services (e.g., travel insurance, upgrades).
9. Reporting: Provide sales reports and insights to management.
10. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
Requirements
1. Experience: 1-2 years in sales, preferably in the travel industry.
2. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality/Tourism preferred.
3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills; additional languages beneficial.
4. Sales Skills: Proven sales acumen, negotiation, and persuasion abilities.
5. Technical: Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and online booking platforms.
6. Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
7. Time Management: Effective prioritization and organizational skills.
8. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with travel industry regulations, trends, and best practices.
Desired Skills
1. Travel industry certifications (e.g., IATA, ARC).
2. Multilingualism.
3. Experience with GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).
4. Knowledge of destination management systems.
