Your Mission
We are seeking a Sales and Account Manager to work alongside the Territory Lead, being responsible for managing media clients from LATAM and Iberia business territories. You will have a proactive approach to generate new business leads to target news media networks and publishers, selling our video subscription products into senior editors and managers, optimizing, and upgrading the sales of client accounts, whilst maintaining back-office diligence in CRM, contracts, payments, and data.
This position requires building strong relationships, identification, and acquisition of potential new clients through prospecting and networking on behalf of the company.
Your Main Tasks
• Build strong relationships with media clients including TV networks, digital platforms, and publishers
• Understand client editorial needs and mapping their organization
• Prospect new sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential clients
• Work alongside with our legal department in assigned copyright cases
• Work closely with the Customer Service department to ensure a successful experience for clients
• Strategize with the Territory Manager on target accounts to ensure maximum revenue generation
• Maintain and keep ahead of industry trends, products, and services.
• Submit activity reports and sales forecasts, keeping CRM up-to-date, and operative management of accounts including payments
• Provide proactive trusted thought leadership with Journalist, Editors, Managers, and C - Level Directors while representing the company in events or country visits
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Familiarity and network with the News Media landscape in Latin America
• Relevant experience in B2B client account management and sales
• Languages: Native/Advanced Spanish is mandatory - fluency in written and spoken English is necessary as it is our corporate language - Advanced/Native Portuguese is a plus.
• Demonstrate the ability to build reports with existing and prospective clients
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented professional able to work independently and deliver results
