Develops and administers risk management programs, including OSHA, EPA, and local emergency planning.
Maintains OSHA and workers compensation recordkeeping.
Advise management, operations, and project/maintenance teams as required to assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate rules and regulations pertaining to employee health and safety.
Conducts regular guest safety audits around the resort and addresses observations.
Supervises team of Attractions safety coaches who perform daily audits of operational procedure compliance.
Promptly alert line and functional management to accidents and incidents
Identify and analyse applicable safety standards and precautions.
Train and mentor other safety professionals
Prepare safety documentation, as directed, to facilitate the operational implementation of System Safety programs of launch systems and weapon programs at launch ranges, such as Operational Safety Plans, Explosive Safety Plans, Safety Operations Plans, Safety Checklists, Incident Reports, Trip Reports and Incident Reports
Support Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in accordance with AFIMS, when directed.
Requirements & Skills:
Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent to Level 6 qualification & HSES, OSHAD.
Certification & experience in Lifting Equipment and LLG inspections.
Certification & experience in pressure vessel inspection.
Electrical, Thermography test.
RADIATION safety (RSO, RPO).
Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor, Preferred Experience in Fabrication Industries.
