Job Description

1) Write, implement, and manage HSE Programs, Policies and Procedures.

2) Fulfil / satisfy EHS requirements by local enforcement authorities' i.e. clients, civil defence, and insurance company and Ajman Municipality EHS department.

3) Perform facility EHS Inspection and Audit to Observe HSE regulations, corrects hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel for corrective action.

4) Inspect Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance i.e. labelling, containment, proper disposal, documentation, etc.

5) Investigate accident/incidents; produce report, root cause analysis and advice preventive measures.

6) Responsible for the renewal/new Civil Defence certifications, Maintenance service agreements for firefighting equipment and civil defence E-contracts. Ensure first party must check all the equipment periodically at least (4) times in the contractual year.

7) Ensure reporting fire incidents to concern authorities' such as civil defence, local law enforcement agency and insurance company. Participate in fire investigation carried-out by Dubai Police General Headquarters Forensic Department.

8) Inspect and ensure firefighting equipment and alarm system are operational including labor accommodations. Ensure suitable and adequate number of firefighting equipment are fixed.

9) Perform health monitoring and surveillance. Proactively involve in emergency situations.

10) Perform on-site inspections on regular basis to ensure fire and safety rules and regulation are adhered and terminate all imminently dangerous operations until control measures are put in place.

11) Walk the manufacturing floor on regular basis to establish HSE presence and provide support.

12) Conduct HSE Meetings, First Aid trainings, Drills at regular intervals.

13) Develop/prepare EHS training manuals and give presentation of relevant HSE trainings.

14) Conduct safety induction for the new employees.

15) Ensure Emergency Management Plan and procedures and Emergency numbers are displayed on notice board(s).

16) Assist in emergency response and provide first aid treatment.

17) Ensure appropriate first aid kits are available at designated areas and easily accessible with signs clearly visible.

18) Maintain positive and pro-active relations with the managers and employees as well as with customers/clients/Govt. Authorities.

19) Perform other HSE work related tasks as required and assigned.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
