:Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Safety Protocols: Create and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures that meet regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
• Conduct Inspections: Perform regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and work areas to identify and correct potential hazards.
• Ensure Compliance: Monitor operations to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Training: Plan and conduct safety training sessions for employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards in the workplace through systematic risk assessments and collaborate with teams to implement effective control measures.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace accidents, near misses, or other safety incidents, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Emergency Response Planning: Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and procedures to address potential emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or medical emergencies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety-related communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree / Diploma in related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH/equivalent certificate)
• Proven experience as a Safety Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
