Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Safety Engineer to join our Project Management practice, based in Kuwait. This position is responsible for ensuring that the workplace adhere's to local, national, and international safety regulations.

We envisage success in this role to include;

Observing the Contractor's proposed methods to ensure safety to the workforce, the public and other third parties. Mentoring and guiding members of the team that hold the role of Safety Inspectors and will especially monitor the site safety arrangements of the Contractor and assess the method statements submitted by him for safe systems of work. Issuing instructions to the Contractor where immediate safety measures are required and monitor the works for the safety of the public and other third parties. Reporting to the Resident Engineer on all safety and accident-related issues for action and report to the Client, as may be necessary. Ensuring that HSE standards and practices are delivered to all parties involved in the project. Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree in a Safety or Engineering elective.

The successful candidate will be registered with the Kuwait Society of Engineers and also have worked within a PMC consultancy on a major airport project.
