Job Description

Assist HSE Engineer or Officer in maintaining excellent Health, Safety and Environment standards on the construction site and site offices. Closely monitor throughout the work-site throughout the full working day and report to HSE Engineer about any possible hazard, misconduct. Implement disciplinary measures such as warnings, fines, deduction and termination(in the following order) in non-appliance of staff and manpower, which poses any HSE risk to others.

Responsibility:

- Assist HSE engineer/ Officer in all HSE matters and report to him consistently.

- Aid HSE engineer/Officer in maintaining or exceeding HSE industry standards and specification of the client.

- Provide any safety equipment, material, and personnel needed for a safe procedure of the construction work.

- Monitor systematically the construction site and report to HSE engineers in a consistent manner.

- Make sure safety protocol in urban areas is followed and provide any necessary equipment or personnel to the work area, for example flagmen next to machinery entrance & etc.

- Correct any threat for hazard, non-appliance to protocol or unsanitary practices at the site. If needed he will apply disciplinary measures in the following order - verbal warning, written warning, fine, salary deduction, and termination.

- Coordinate with HSE engineer, labor representative and other technical staff as to make sure HSE standards are followed without interruption, delay of the work done on site.

Requirements:

- HSE certificates.

- Situational awareness and attention to detail

- Ability to impose disciplinary measures if needed.

- Good interpersonal skills,

- Fluency in Hindi/Urdu, Arabic, Pashto or any other language is a plus.(checked and agreed)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
