Job Description

A prestigious school in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Security Engineer to oversee and enhance our safety and security protocols. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a school environment, possess a valid visa, demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and have the ability to ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety and security policies and procedures across the school campus.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential safety and security hazards.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Train staff and students on emergency response procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as needed.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory safety and security requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Safety and Security Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within a school setting.
• Valid visa (residency) owned by the candidate.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Security Management, or a related field.
• Certifications in safety and security management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are a plus.
