Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all safety regulations and practices are strictly adhered to across our construction sites. The Safety Advisor will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. A valid SARS card is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce the company's health and safety policies and procedures across all construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and education to all employees and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including UAE labor laws and safety standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
• Maintain and update all safety documentation, including risk assessments, safety logs, and training records.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Advisor in the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE safety regulations and standards.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and influence employees at all levels.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• SARS card is mandatory for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
